The guideline provides information and explanations for the correct and safe work with multigas sensors. It describes the requirements on and testing of multigas sensors. The described examination is carried out, taking into account the classification in categories of applications and functionalities. This is made with the assessment of different grades. Limits and the requisite tests depending on the category of the application are shown in tables. The user of this guideline will be enabled to check a multigas sensor according to uniform criteria.
