Summary
This standard describes procedures for design/type testing, initial/receiving inspections as well as the monitoring inspection of special gauges and test equipment. The necessary work procedures for the respective examinations are described in the form of directly applicable work instructions. Apart from calibration, preparatory work for both the calibration unit and the inspection items is also described. Further help is provided for evaluating and documenting the calibration. The standard is valid in conjunction with VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618 Part 1.1 and Part 1.2.
