The standard describes a simplified method for the determination of uncertainty of measurement, which is conform to 'ISO-Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM)'. Thus, the claim of the specification of the uncertainty of measurement as well as the traceable calibration is taken into account. The modelling of the function for the measurement uncertainty analysis is described. The standard gives descriptions about their discovery and treated samples. The main mathematical foundations are listed and enable the user to create corresponding models for the determination of the uncertainty of measurement itself, or to adjust available equations to present conditions.
