The standard describes a procedure, influencing variables for the measurement uncertainty and preparation of the calibration certificate for the calibration of angle-of-rotation measuring instruments in which the angle of rotation is indirectly measured or defined by a mathematically determined measured variable proportional to the angle of rotation. This type of measuring device is usually a combination of torque/rotation angle encoder systems with a lever arm, i.e. so-called reference-armless torque/rotation angle spanners.
