Summary
The standard defines interfaces for the exchanged data of a module. The focus is on the syntactic and semantic definition of data interfaces for sensors, actuators, value specifications and interlock logics. Starting from a basic interface, extensions are defined with the help of derivations for different interface families. Target groups of this standard are module manufacturers, tool manufacturers and module integrators.
