VG 84512:2012-11

This standard is applicable to grade GL-K3 outboard swivel shots used on vessels at ambient temperatures down to -20 °C. An outboard swivel shot according to this standard consists of a lashing link according to VG 84527, a certain number of common stud link according to VG 84529 and a swivel shackle according to VG 84536. They are components of grade GL-K3 stud link anchor chain cables according to VG 84510. They are positioned between the anchor and the first shot of chain cable according to VG 84501.
