This standard applies to the assignment of nominal sizes of non-magnetizable anchor chain cables in accordance with VG 84511 to the equipment numeral in accordance with the regulations of Germanischer Lloyd (GL) III, Part 1, Chapter 1, Section 18. The data of this standard apply with application of the non magnetizable anchor both cables and both to surface vessels and submarines of the Deutsche Marine (German Navy).
