Summary
This standard is applicable to non-magnetizable connection links which are used on board vessels. The connection links (Type A) are a component of slip hooks in accordance with VG 84504-2 and of towing pendants in accordance with VG 84547-2. The coupling links (Type K) and the NATO link (Type N) are detachable component parts of the towing equipments in accordance with VG 84544-2.
