Summary
This standard applies to simple eccentrically mounted, soft-sealing butterfly valves with a continuous butterfly valve stem, which are used on watercraft. This valves are to be used in pipe assemblies for sea water, fuel F-75, aircraft fuel F-44, lubrication oil, hot water and fresh cooling water with and without additives at operating temperatures up to 120 °C.
