Summary
This standard ist applicable to expansion joonts installed in systems of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) for operational overpressures - from -0,08 MPa bis 1,0 MPa to -0,8 bar bis 10 bar, for fuel and oil pipes; - from -0,08 MPa bis 1,6 MPa to -0,8 bar bis 16 bar, for water pipes. Alternating pressure loads (underpresure/overpressure) shall be avoided. This standard is not applicable to expansion joints in aircrafts.
