VG 95964-1:2015-11

This standard applies to cylindrical expansion joints (Type B and Type P, DN 6 - DN 32) used on vessels and submarines. It applies to these expansion joints used in assemblies for oils and fuels up to PN 10 and in assemblies for seawater without additives based on mineral oil up to PN 50. In the text they are hereinafter referred to as expansion joints. Expansion joints according to this standard are subject to type testing in accordance with VG 95964-4. This standard does not apply to expansion joints used in aircrafts.
