This standard applies to cylindrical elastomer expansion joints according to VG 95964-1, VG 95964-3 and VG 95964-5, hereinafter referred to as expansion joints. This standard does not apply to bellows elastomer expansion joints according to VG 95958. For the routing and mounting of expansion joints, connecting VG 95956 applies. For the routing and mounting of hose assemblies as elastic connectiong elements, VG 95926-3 applies. This standard does not apply to expansion joints used in aircraft
