Summary

This standard is valid in connection with the generic specification VG 96927-2 for bonding straps. For special applications bonding straps may be covered with shrinkable sleevings according to VG 95343-5 or VG 95343-12. The length of the shrinkable sleevings shall be dimensioned so, that the crimp barrels are not uncovered. Assignment of the shrinkable sleevings to the bonding straps according to VG 95343-3. For applications in the Bundeswehr only bonding straps shall be used according to this standard in place of bonding straps according to DIN 9264-2 and LN 9264-1 (see annex A).
