Summary

This standard contains requirement for design and function of unheated tray service and food container trolleys for commercial use; in particularly for the distribution and transportation of food, including the testing, technical safety and hygienic characteristic feature. These alliances are moved only by hand. Additional requirement for cooling components are integrated. Against DIN 18867-3:1997-01 the section 2 and the safety requirements were reviewed, the tests to the requirements attributed and hygienic aspects integrated.

DIN 18867-3 (1997-01) remains valid alongside this standard until 2011-10-31.
