This standard applies for the appropriate design and application of devices for receiving samples to be tested on a hardness tester for hardness testing according to DIN EN ISO 4516, DIN EN ISO 6506-1, DIN EN ISO 6507-1 and DIN EN ISO 6508-1. In the hardness test, the samples are generally workpieces.
