Summary
This draft standard is based on the documents PRESCO(CV)009 to incorporate the omission for the color amber, and the consequences to IEC 60809, Annex E, related to recently added filament lamp types to the UN regulation R37. IEC 60809 is applicable to replaceable and standardised lamps (filament lamps, discharge lamps and LED light sources) to be used in headlamps, fog-lamps and signalling lamps for road vehicles. In some applications, these lamps may be installed as nonreplaceable.
