Summary
This draft standard is based on 34A/1931/CDV in which 7 proposals are described. Proposal 1, 2 and 3 deal with the addition and deletion of specific lamp types in 8.2 and the addition of lamp types in Annex I Proposal 4 deals with an amendment in clause C.2 Luminous flux based on the introduction of a new light source. Proposal 5 adds a new clause 6.5.1 for Light centre length of Lx3A, Lx3B, Lx4A, Lx4B, Lx5A and Lx5B. Proposal 6 adds the new Annex K for Method(s) to determine the value of the light centre length for Lx3A, Lx3B, Lx4A, Lx4B, Lx5A and Lx5B. Proposal 7 adds two new subclauses in 5.6.2 dealing with the run up time for two different lamp types.
