With this Amendment 1 to the International Standard IEC 61162-450:2011 some clarifications are given, and a number of corrections is performed, e. g. also in wrongly calculated checksums in many of the example sentences and in test methods.

DIN EN 61162-450 (2012-04) remains valid alongside this standard until 2019-05-05.*A transition period, as set out in DIN EN IEC 61162-450 (2019-02), exists until 2021-06-08.
