VDI 2580:2012-10

The guideline describes the current state-of-the-art of the process and abatement techniques of industrial plants producing carbon black including all installations for the material preparation and product refining. The guideline considered aside the most used furnace black process also the lamp black and gas black process. Moreover, it provides guidance for the emission measurements. It is aimed in equal measure at plant operators, plant manufacturers, designing engineers as well as at regulating and surveillance authorities.
