VDI 2580:2014-02

The standard describes the current state of the art of process and abatement techniques of industrial plants producing carbon black, including all installations for the material preparation and product refining. Aside from the most frequent used furnace black process the standard also discusses the lamp black and gas black process. Moreover, it provides guidance for emission measurements. It is aimed in equal measure at plant operators, plant manufacturers, designing engineers as well as regulating and supervisory authorities.
