The standard applies to the transport of plane concrete elements with a loading width of up to 3,00 m. It describes a selection of appropriate procedures and methods for securing plane concrete elements on road vehicles for freight transportation, without claiming completeness. The standard is based on studies on the determination of coefficients of friction as well as the current state of load securing recommendations for ceiling and wall panels made of concrete. The standard is intended for the use of consignors, carriers, shippers, vehicle operators (drivers), vehicle owners and such persons as the law, ordinances, contracts or other codes of practice make responsible for securing the load and for safe transportation.
