Summary

Sheet metal anchorages are solid collars produced by plunging starting from a pilot hole. Sheet metal anchorages may be threaded for screws. The guideline describes the procedures to produce sheet metal anchorages by plunging, friction drilling and hydroforming. The influencing parameters and limits of these procedures are also subject of the guideline.
