Stationary source emissions - Determination of the measurement uncertainty of measured values obtained by emission measurements with manual or automated measurement methods.
Summary
This standard specifies procedures for the determination of the measurement uncertainty of measured values obtained in random emission measurements with manual or automatic measurement methods. The measurement uncertainty determined according to this standard can be used, for example, for the assessment of measurement results for individual measurements for the monitoring of emission limit values. The procedure for the determination of measurement uncertainty described in this standard applies to the application of standard reference methods or other validated measurement methods in the range of validity specified by the user. This standard implements the general recommendations of the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (ISO/IEC Guide 98-3) and the basic requirements of DIN EN ISO 20988. This standard is intended for bodies carrying out determinations of air pollutants at stationary sources, for accreditation bodies and for competent authorities in the field of air pollution control.
