Summary
The guideline defines a procedure for the determination of a task-specific uncertainty for coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with CT sensors. Using the determined uncertainty and the knowledge of the tolerance to be fulfilled an assessment of an test process with coordinate measuring machines with CT sensors on the basis of the statistic derived from ""test process suitability"" can be done. Therefore, a mutual coordination of measurement and manufacturing process is possible.
