The standard specifies procedures for the calibration of RF signal generators with analog modulation. It describes the procedure of calibration from preparation over execution up to the documentation of the calibration results. The procedures described define the minimum requirements to a calibration. The necessary measurement standards (normals) for the calibration are designated and the measuring procedures for the determination of the measurement deviations are described. Furthermore, references to the determination of the uncertainty of measurement are given.
